Water billing for RV parks with long-term guests.
Monthly and seasonal guests should pay for what they use. Snap each site's meter and MeterPic turns the reading into a charge you can add to their bill.
No new hardware. Works on any phone.
The problem
Guests come and go. Meter readings shouldn't get lost.
Move-outs in the middle of the month
Take a reading the day a guest leaves, so their final bill matches what they used.
Readings scattered across notes
Every reading is saved with its photo, site number, date and time in one place.
Water that nobody pays for
Unusually high use at a site gets flagged, so a leaking hose or open spigot doesn't run all month.
How it works
Three steps, once a month.
Step 1: Snap
Photograph each meter on your route. The reading, date, and time are saved with the photo.
Step 2: Calculate
Charges are figured from your water rates, with odd readings flagged.
Step 3: Bill
Export charges to your rent software or send simple resident bills.
FAQ
Questions owners ask us.
Do I need new meters?
No. MeterPic works with the site meters you already have.
What about overnight and weekly guests?
MeterPic is built for guests who stay long enough to be billed for water, usually monthly or seasonal stays.
Can I bill RV guests for water?
It depends on your state. In Texas, the PUC's submetering rules name apartments, condominiums and manufactured home communities but not RV parks, so check with the PUC before billing guests for water. MeterPic isn't legal advice, so confirm your obligations with your state regulator.
